Abstract In this paper, a new design of small horizontal-axis wind turbine is introduced. The based on the authors’ patent, which uses permanent magnets impeded into shroud that holds rotor blades. generator coils are installed fixed diffuser houses and acts as concentrator. Therefore, has no hub direct coupling for electricity generation. main features have been explored to highlight advantages with focus how can be integrated recent development green buildings. effect increasing number blades blade chord distribution performance investigated turbine.
